The Littlest Astronaut and The Rescue

2 STORY SPECIAL ! $1.99
98 PAGES OF PICTURES AND NARRATIVE

VOLUME 1

With a breakthrough in human embrionic engineering, Baxter became the smallest astronaut in recorded history. I mean we’re talking 5 inches tall! This promised to enable future space exploration to be more easily accomplished with vastly reduced sizes of spacecrafts as long as much smaller payloads.
Unfortunately the program was underfunded and the entire project was shut down.
In the first volume, Baxter is danger of being euthanized by the space agency in order to avoid the possibility of the media stiring up a human rights issue. To avoid that, the research group assigns a beautiful young member of the team, Claire Jones, to secretly share her home with Baxter until other plans could be made. And somehow, even though Baxter stood barely up to her ankle, a relationship somehow developed between Baxter and Claire.

The second volume gets quite interesting. It seems that the chief of the research team, Shanice Smith, was also interested in providing living quarters for Baxter and then proceeded to trick Claire into allowing Shanice into providing care for Baxter in her own home. And, of course, little Baxter then found himself smack in the middle of another romantic involvement.
The space agency ultimately discovered Baxter’s wherebouts and recaptured him and took him back to the lab where he waited in a cage to be euthanized. But the story doesn’t end on a sour note. It seems that a very vivacious young girl named Zulu was determine to save him. Would she do it? 56pp, text & narrative
