Kyra was a research scientist working in a large university under a government grant. The research was in the area of molecular consolidation which is the shrinking of living organisms by consolidating their molecular structure.
But unbeknownst to the school she had developed a working prototype device that she hoped to sell to a military contractor for oodles of money. In the lab she was able to shrink a chimpanzee to the size of a mouse. She saw no reason why she couldn’t achieve the same result using a man.
